Design and Consultation
Customized design includes a process of meeting with our design team to formulate ideas and solutions for your project. We can build any style to match the existing space, whether it is Modern, Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Federal, Country or Art Deco.

An initial consultation starts with a visit to your home or the space. Using your thoughts and ideas (or your designer/architect) we usually can draw a quick sketch at the site as we talk, take measurements and photos to use in the final scaled drawing process. This sketch, along with information from the client and/or designer gives us the information needed to submit an estimate for the work. Once the estimate is approved with a contract which includes price and turn around time for the project, a finished shop drawing is done, with specific measurements and details. Revisions and changes can be made at the beginning stages of this process before the work is started; these signed change orders will be added or deleted from the original contract, along with any changes in pricing. Finishes and samples are also given to the customer for approval.

Wood Selection and Finishes
We offer our clients a choice of domestic and exotic hardwoods as well as a selection of veneers. With regard to finish, our finishers can color match to existing wood, and we have the ability to do glazes, distressing, glaze on paint, graining on paint and other processes.

Just ask. We have access to specialty hardware suppliers to find unique hardware or match existing. Using custom made knives, we have the ability to match existing moldings in your home and we use a variety of suppliers for architectural details.
